but does anyone have a best way to "practice" ??</p>
<p>I feel like I’m repeating myself over and over on this subject, and I guess I am, but the best resource for SAT vocabulary is word-nerd.com. The words are organized into to easy to remember categories so you can learn efficiently. Hope that helps.</p>
<p>When I first starting learning vocabulary, I went to Sparknotes’ list of 1000 words and wrote down every word (fifty at a time) I was unsure of or ignorant of. The aggregate turned out to be 601; and I learned them all. Despite this, there are still some words I’ve encountered on practice tests that I’ve never seen before, so before October, I’m going to write down some words from another list I’ve found. This is only my method. Different people have all sorts of various ways to learn vocabulary, which makes up the easier part of Critical Reading.</p>
