One other thing, UW is building a new building for the MBA program which will free considerable space in Grainger for the undergrads allowing for more classes, meeting rooms etc.

Does UW plan to increase the number of students in the undergrad program? The link was a little vague as to what additional opportunities might mean.

Not to my knowledge. I think they mean increased opportunities to have places for business clubs to meet and for students to work together in small groups. Right now space is tight and it can be hard to find rooms to work together etc. Also a larger undergrad focused placement office will be very good for undergrads. Some of the amenities like a real student lounge with food will be great too.
I think this will give the UW facilities equal to any public school and that includes the new UM building that is under construction. The SOB's Executive Education center is a block away and also very state of the art. I really believe the new dean from Dartmouth is doing a great job of upgrading the UW SOB and has the high level contacts to improve IBank/consulting recruiting which is the only really limited area right now.

What an awesome guy! Really makes me want to go there. It's def. my second choice if I dont get into BU ED. I know Indiana is a better b-school, but I still would rather go to BU.

And again UW is higher-this time for marketing by over $1,000

Marketing 86 Acceptances Reported

Average Base: $42,683.87

Because too many people on this board incorrectly speak about the academics there, so many times I have to correct them and let them know that it's a great, not good, school.
