Insides vs Campus

I visited both USF and UF yesterday and I still can't decide which to choose. I didn't get to see inside UF's dorms, but the campus itself is more attractive to me than USF's. I like the feel of it more and while people say that it's bigger, I like how close everything feels to each other. The vibe, the brick, the historical buildings, everything. I don't see how the city itself would matter, but I did see quite a few restaurants nearby and there are campus events.

But the "insides" worry me. I'll be majoring in Public Relations there and I have a wary feeling on the academics. I'm thinking that USF might be better for me in that department, but I can't even find the right words to say WHY. I'm not as big of a fan of USF's campus, I think it mainly reminds me of my local college's layout/structure/feel, especially with the buildings and such. But I HOPE to only live on campus at either college for a year then get an apartment off-campus. So does it matter?

I feel like I'm always posting questions on here, so I'm sorry! Although I haven't gotten much responses on those either ;)

UF’s College of Journalism and Communications is one of the best in the nation. I think you should feel “good” about the “insides”. :-bd

At UF, most students only live in the dorms for a year, maybe two, before moving into an apartment/rental house, etc. It’s the norm.

Hopefully, some current or ex PR majors can give you more insight!

Thank you, @Gator88NE! You always seem ready to answer my questions  I guess I feel intimidated, which I think I need to get over. I just want to be able to live up to the college’s expectations and be on the same level as everyone in the classes! Love the video!
