Is there good insulation in the dorms?

What about heating? I have many friends in UIUC, UM and other cold states who complain about how they don't get heat in their dorms and I don't want to suffer through 4 winters in the midwest.

Don't actually care about A/C but maybe on the hotter days in august and may?

No A/C in the freshmen dorms so rooms can be warm during periods of high temperatures. It stayed fairly hot the early part of last fall semester. Bring a fan - a big one! Some kids got creative with filling containers with water/ice and placing them in front of fans to cool. Once the colder weather hits Cleveland and the heat comes on in the dorms, it’s warm enough. At times, the dorm room the heat is a little high so you open the windows. You should be comfortable during the winter. Last winter was colder than normal - even for Cleveland and I think dorm rooms were fine. Walking to classes - now that’s COLD! :)

Thanks! I feel less intimidated by cleveland weather now
