I’m a college sophomore, but I have enough credits to be classified as a junior. I’m graduating in the fall of 2019.
That said, I was just wondering if it was possible to walk across the stage/attend commencement with my class (2020) even thought I’ll technically graduate a semester earlier?
Obviously, if it’s a no I’m not going to stay another semester to make it happen; money and sentimentality don’t mix, but it can’t hurt to ask.
Many colleges do the ceremonial stuff only at the end of the spring term, so if that applies to your college, you will have to do the ceremonial stuff one semester earlier or later if you graduate after a fall term (if you want to do it at all).
How your college handles it is something you need to check with your college, since others who do not know what your college is cannot help you find out how your college handles it.
