Inter-Ivy Transfers?

Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone could give me a bit more info on inter-ivy transfers (preferably those that have done it). Is it easier than nonivy-->ivy transfers? Is it a lot easier? I hear you have to be exceptional or fill a niche to be accepted into a top 10 school through transfers. Is this true?

if it helps, I'm looking at Harvard, Stanford (i know not ivy), Columbia, and Penn*Wharton

My reasons for transferring are not so much academic as they are about environment/atmosphere/social scene. Is this valid at all? or does it have to be academic related

What are typical GPA/stats for ivy transfers?

Stanford and Harvard will be very difficult for any transfer student. Typically, transfers to those schools have 3.7+ GPAs and comparable SAT scores. And having social reasons over academic ones are perfectly acceptable, especially in the case where you’re attempting to switch T20 schools. (For example, if you’re an admissions officer for an Ivy reading an essay written by a student from another Ivy that says something along the lines of “the academics here aren’t very good”, you’re not going to be very believable.)
