Interested in UBC engineering

Hi guys, this is my first time asking a question, please forgive me for any mistakes.

I am a international student going into 12th grade in Taiwan. I am interested in getting into engineering at UBC but when i looked at the requirements from https://you.ubc.ca/ubc/okanagan/uscurric.ezc . It mentions that I need two full years of physics and chemistry. I have taken 10 grade chemistry and AP chemistry in my junior year, so that’s no problem. My issue is with the physics course. My school only offers one year of physics and I have finished that course.

How can I meet the requirements of the department of engineering at University of British Columbia.
I have come up with some ideas but i do no know if they will work, such as taking an online course for physics and/or taking the AP physics exam(telling them I will be taking it because college application is before the AP exam scores coming out. )

Thanks for the help!

Have you called them and asked? An online course should work, so long as it’s recognized by UBC.
