<p>Say you were given the time periods for the ACT (45, 60, 35, 35, 30) and the sections and you were allowed to choose which section matched up with which time period during test day.</p>

<p>Example of what I would do:</p>

<p>English 35 Minutes
Math 30 Minutes
Reading 60 Minutes
Science 45 Minutes
Essay 35 Minutes</p>

<p>35 minutes for the essay?! in my testing center everyone was done after 25 minutes lol. i can't write that long about a boring topic. </p>

<p>but i would do.. </p>

<p>Math: 60 min.
Science: 45 min.
Reading: 35 min.
English: 35 min.
Essay: 30 min.</p>

<p>35 for the essay because those extra 5 minutes would probably help my essay in terms of content more than it would help my math score.</p>

<p>That extra five minutes would really help on the essay...and I am always done with critical reading way before 35 minutes anyway, so it seems like a good trade</p>

<p>Wow OP you could really finish the math in 30 min? If so that's impressive.
I would keep it the same except switch reading and english. I usually finish the English early and run out of time with about 3-4 questions left in reading.</p>

<p>I finished the December math in half an hour and got a 34</p>

<p>Wow half an hour lol. I also got a 34 on the math but it took me every second of the sixty minutes.</p>
