Internal Transferring Options at NYU (PLEASE ANSWER SOON)

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>I have been lucky enough to be accepted to NYU for the Class of 2018. However, in my application process, I feel as if I have made a mistake. </p>

<p>I didn't know much about the different choices in schools or how they affected the process. As a result, I applied to the Arts & Sciences college rather than the Business School, which I would have preferred. I didn't really think that what school I put on the Common App mattered, but I now realize that it very much does. </p>

<p>Is there anything I can do to transfer schools before the Fall Semester starts? I have looked at the stats for Stern Business and I am above or at all of them, if that helps. What options are there for me for internal transferring? And yes, I realize this was a result of my own mistake. </p>

<p>Internal transfer to Stern is near impossible. I think the total number of Stern transfers last year (including external) was 25 people. However, the economics department in CAS is excellent, if that helps</p>

<p>Would calling the school and asking about possibilities, mentioning my stats, help at all?</p>

<p>I mean, you could try, but realistically I think that you may be out of luck. Never hurts to call though!</p>
