International Graduate Applicants

Hi, I was just wondering if any of the international graduate applicants received any e-mails or packages regarding their application decision. I'm all the way in Asia and I absolutely have no clue whether I'll be receiving the decision (acceptance or rejection) via e-mail or package. I sent my application to Steinhardt around mid-January and still haven't received anything. I'm really anxious about it though, but I'm thinking that as long as I haven't received any rejection letter yet, there's still hope.

Anyway, I hope the other international applicants can fill me in on how we're going to find out about our status (or if you already got your decision, if it was sent through e-mail or package). Thanks! :)

…bump?

Starting to get pessimistic. :-/

I know that undergraduate international applicants are notified first by e-mail. I’m not positive about graduate applicants though.

I’m also in Asia and haven’t heard a thing. which program did you apply to?

Thanks CASmom! I really wish they send us an e-mail already.

Hi Jeyy! I applied for Early Childhood Education in Steinhardt. What about you? Good luck to both of us, I hope we hear from them SOON!

I’m also hoping get into Steinhardt, but for Food Studies. let’s hang in there together, wherever you are. good luck!

Any news Jeyy? Still none from my end. :(

i just got my rejection letter in the mail today. it was dated march 25. funny I thought they’re sending out emails to international students?? it’s bittersweet though… as much as I like the program, the tuition’s much too expensive for me.
all the best to you!! :)

Hi Jeyy,

Sorry to hear that. But at least the long wait is over, right? Did you apply anywhere else? And you’re right, the tuition is expensive. I don’t even know if I’ll pursue it IF I get accepted. (A big IF since I still haven’t heard anything haha). Good luck with your future plans. :)
