International Politics + Visual Communication Journalism?

Hey guys,
I'm looking into some of my major choices as my first year of college is almost done.
I currently go to Penn state, but I am planning on transferring to villanova possibly.
I have a major interest in Photography/ Photojournalism and have always been good at it. I have been shooting photo's since I was nine and I have sold many photography pieces.
I also enjoy writing very much. My summer's are usually based on doing photography or writing.
I enjoyed and succeeded Political Science classes back in Highschool. The success of Political Science has went on to my college experience as I have been getting pure A's in them.
The IR field has given me great interest because I always enjoy following the International Relations spectrum.

I've tried many other classes here on campus but I do not hold a very strong enjoyment for the sciences, math, engineering etc... I feel these two are the best I am into.

But would a International Politics major paired with a Journalism major with Visual Communications actually come in handy today? I do enjoy both very well. Should I switch off to general political science? Maybe as-well switch of to print journalism?
I'm not really planning it for the money, but something I can enjoy day to day.

A hopefully career goal would be possibly to become a writer or photojournalist for a newspaper in the International section one day. Maybe that might sound like a bad high school dream, but would it be possible?
