<p>Honors Programmes are, I think, technically a smaller set of students in a university (or possibly some LACS) who are the high-caliber students who receive closer teaching from the professors and do some extra projects/thesis or something...</p>

<p>UMich's and UVA's Honor Programmes are suppose to be some of the most prestigious in the US. I think UWisconsin - Madison's Honors and Penn State's are up there, too.</p>
