Kj, you're not, unless that's why Def edited his post. (No DNA, mate?)

Def, don't worry. Come mid-April I'll have a few rejections there. :D We'll keep each other company!

Izzy, whats the amount of ur schol at Cornell College? Is it ur 1st choice college? :)

"amount of [my] schol at Cornell College"? Scholarship? About a third of the price.

I don't have a clear-cut favorite. I think I mentioned before somewhere that it changes constantly... bad memory

lol... Cornell College has got a "Not in ithaca" shirt while Kenyon has got a "Kenyon is not next to Uganda" shirt!!

Btw Izzy, you said something about getting scholarship from our dear government?? Mind telling me more about it?? I know that JPA awards scholarship but it's mostly for those big-name schools... and the bond is... wow... 10 years (if i am not wrong)!! :(

Hehahahehahahah! I don't know what it says about us that ppl make geographical errors!

http://www.cornellcollege.edu/about_cornell/not_in_ithaca.shtml
"Cornell College students wear T-shirts with the slogan "Isn't that in Ithaca?" If Cornell University students wore "Isn't that in Mount Vernon?" T-shirts, no one would get the joke."

I was talking about JPA. It all depends. If you go to the JPA website, then HRMIS, then College Qualification or something, you can see what schools are "recognized" for the each major.

Unfortunately it means committing to a major to JPA before you go to that school which kind of makes the point of a Liberal Arts College...pointless, right?

GRRR. My sister has one, but she's at an engineering university so even if she changes her major from, say, mechanical to electrical engineering, it's still valid.

Sucks beeep

P.S. My sis got a loan, so she has to repay or work it back. She's thinking of payihng it. A scholarship...that's the one where you promise to work for the gov, right?

Yep!! That's the "Kenyon is not next to Uganda" T-shirt.

I wonder if there are any other shirts that are like Kenyon's and Cornell College's... =)

Btw, Izzy... so sorry for all the "offlines"... something is really wrong with my Internet connection... and coupled with CC's time wrap... I am really going nuts today!! ;)

Maybe all the Ohio Wesleyan, Illinois Wesleyan, Wesleyan College, etc schools? Something about how they're Wesleyan University...or in CT..

Cute shirt! :D

Forgiven, no worries. :)

Haha, and yeah, all the washington colleges... Washington and Lee, Mary Washington, Washinton College, George Washington University!

did anyof you realize that the Internationals sat results and this thread both are attracting only the few reg posters .. and not new ones...... being a forum with so many ppl.yet only thge select 10 who do post here also......

I wonder why

SM

Maybe most people want to stay in their own niche? Like for the Chinese and Koreans and Indians and Taiwanese and all that. :) I feel comfortable in the Int'l SAT Results thread. I don't know how comfortable I would feel joinin' an almost-3000-long thread where people already each other's real names.

But we are welcoming in the other thread... :( Are we that scary or monopolizing?

Whoops. Meant to say how they're NOT Wesleyan University in CT!

ha ha .. noone is scary but mayb this is what is happening, for apparently no major reason.. noone new ever comes into the Intl Rd or SAT thread..

its cool to see atleast u ppl in the few mutlinational group of reg posters on a single thread .. coz al others are like the Indian Threda. chineese thread.. and so on..

SM
