International SAT 2011 December

acquainted with, as for the preposition i think it is really correct. It means like you know sb/sth. I’ve been using this word for a long time and I always use it with " with" not " to "

@eatlovepray what question is that? i only remember that question about MATTER. i answered it is important but no relavant to all readers. i was also considering significant but uncomfortable to discuss… something.

@avconstant the distance between the points are the same so you just do plus and minus calculations.

@eatpraylove : nono, he loved writing, remember? He loved all his characters coz they were a part of him. I don’t remember what I wrote. but just saying: he didn’t have negative feelings towards it.

What passage do you guys hate the most ? I loath the media violence one

Ah, I didn’t choose irrelevant one. I guess I chose A for that one coz the passage didn’t say anything about his writings being irrelevant to readers. Yeah I chose the one with significant and uncomfortable.

I put significant but rarely discussed or something. for that question

yeah for matter I wrote significant but discomforting as well: Coz they say he had trouble reading his work aloud and felt better about writing it. I dunno that’s what I interpreted.

oh cause i thought acquinted WITH is like you get to know someone and that someone also gets to know you. and acquainted TO is like you get to learn about something. i dont know </3

@AvtarGill : read the entire thread: a lot of questions are answered.

Oh yeah, may be I’m mistaken. Yup he then lists many people right? and then there was a question related to this listing? like why did the author list those people? To show diversity or variety or sth like that, right?

Yeah dude, the media one was ****! I was so confused for so many questions.

ohhh. and. why did the author mention mark twain’s stupid saying like… “you should praise the writer something…” i chose to explain the reason why his classmates were doing that to him. O.o or was it. the reason that explains his classmates’ attitude.

diversity/variety check :D

and he mentioned the “list” to infer diversity?

@avconstant yup, exactly. I interpreted that way as well coz he directly stated that. It was first strange to read out loud and then he saw its advantages sth like that…

@fluffynoly I chose that too: the Mark twain one.

I don’t think its about the classmates it wasn’t directly stated

did u guys put “basic” or “pure” for the question realted to something ebing in simple in the zubin passage

@ fluffynoly yeah, Mark Twain. I chose the one with the ‘response’
