International SAT 2011 December

it sounds so… wrong grammar-ish. =)) shouldn’t it be IN JUST 7 months? not in ONLY 7 months? i dont know. im being paranoid i guess

the one with the where and in which was quite tricky coz they precisely have the same meaning.

@intelextreme 9-100 was 36, yes.
two graphs meet? was that from exptal?
a<x<a+10 is B, yes
The graph had a kink! You couldn’t just extend the line. the answer is 5 cm.

Any got this weird question: the question about hair cut: 2 months from decision 9cm; 3month from decision 11cm, the points marking the length of her hair each month lie in a line. Length of her hair when she decided not to cut hair for 6 months ? I draw a line but at the time of 0 month, the length is negative. What the hell is this ?

was there an answer in the reading passage like “media influences view of the world and themselves” or “people consume more than b4?”

Is the aviator who moved to france and completed a course in only smth months no error??

donny me too yey.

@eatlovepray I put the first one for vice president. coz there is no problem in the first one.

i answered IN ONLY 7 or 6 months. then… i answered that MEDIA affect children something… and i chose IN WHICH over WHERE

I think this month’s SAT was relatively easier ! I took the October test and the Critical reading sections then were 100 times tougher than this months critical reading sections.

Rex205, i put the view of the world and themselves

@intelextreme its 9cm the answer. As you see the gradient, 2cm is growing in every month. there for from 11cm 2nd month. 9cm

@eatlovepray…yes, but in which was definitely the correct answer…because where is used only for places…whereas in that sentence…it was explaining some type of process or part of something

@fluffy…they’ll never test you on something like “in just 7 months” or “in only 7 months…”.when they test on you prepositions or idioms…it’s something…like there was a question where it should have been …“prevented (from)…”

@intelextreme the graph is not drawn to the scale. you should use those two ponints (2,9) and (3,11) to formulate an equation which is y=2x+5. then you subsititue x with 0 so you get 5 :)

@ americano. yeah that sentence was correct. traveled to France to become a pilot coz her country offered no pilot course or sth to women…sth like that.

@avConstant OH GOD ! Are you sure that 5cm is right ? I find this question stupid but I think of the rule one wrong = one ommited so I chose A 5cm for that question. Thank god ! 800 Math rocks !

@donnykim - you are correct , the correct answer should start with ‘reception center’.

does anyone remember anything about the birds? :)) how to migrate and stuff?

the correct answer for the hair length question would be 5cm.

Are you serious? i thought Math was much easier than the Oct one. I got -5 and 710 on the Oct test.
The birds passage:
How do the birds fly such vast distances without getting lost?
And for instance: the barn blah blah 6000 miles while tern blah blah three times as far.
then there was an insert sentence after sentence # __ : I think I put in kept away from the stars in critical stages of its development.
