International SAT 2011 December

yeah I had cerebral, but don’t remember I had quintessential…probably

btw did anyone take the nov 19 test?
Cause I have one question… for the brothers playing on piano…
did they show their feeling of hatred in different ways or did they show “competitiveness”? in their own way? :stuck_out_tongue: sorry really random but never got to ask that question!

i had cerebral and quintessential but quintessential is wrong i think.

Section 10 question 5
there was something like system ‘in which’/‘by which’ the syllable…
What’s the answer?

I put that as well… :stuck_out_tongue: quintessential and cerebral… but I get all wrong in sent come but get all the passages correct. I always thought memorizing vocab is a stupid thing so I never got to improve my CR score by much haha

for the most beautiful city I put either no error or “To some”…

I checked the meaning of quintessential later, but it doesn’t seem to fit in the sentence, perhaps.

@warsovereign…if you’re talking about the question which had where/in which…it’s “in which”

I put that as well… :stuck_out_tongue: quintessential and cerebral… but I get all wrong in sent come but get all the passages correct. I always thought memorizing vocab is a stupid thing so I never got to improve my CR score by much haha

for the most beautiful city I put either no error or “To some”…

to some was really okay. I precisely remember I put No error for that one.

for the in which one was the one with students gathering up for the questions “in which” they had no time… I also chose in which :D

well. i am gonna sleep now. thanks guys for answering my questions. good luck to all of us :)

I don’t remember putting quintessential…I’m the exact opposite…Suck at the passages but get a perfect on the sentence completions

I guess I chose for which. questions for which they had no time in class, right?

G.night Fluffynoly. G.luck to you, too :)

@suppapp…I think he’s talking about section 10…the question you’re referring was the one…in the sentence identifcation error…“ask questions for which the teacher had no time (or answer?)…”…I put a no error for that one

oh! haha I realized that all koreans memorize barron’s like crazy and word smart haha
I never can do that I guess :stuck_out_tongue:

Did really memorizing barron’s and word smart allow you to ace the SC?

Are there any lists for colleges that accept Jan scores?

Yes…I used to memorize a 100 words a day…using a techniquesof visualing the words and connecting them to something that sticks…even if you don’t retain a lot of the words…since you have a general idea of what the word means…helps tremendously on the sentence completion

I studied vocabulary for the entire August… but what SAT needs is indeed a lot less than that. I got a 18/19 for sentence completion in October, but I think it will drop to 15 or 16/19 something this time.

which academy prep did you goto? I never learned such technique haha I should so try that next time :P
