International SAT 2011 December

I don’t know. Hope not all of them are correct. :frowning:
It was posted under ‘‘okk updateddd CONSOLIDATED LIST’’

Me too. I just wish the curve would be generous, not like the one back in 2009. It looks really harsh. Phewww…

I know the curve in March 2009 was damn harsh, gosh. Hopefully it’s more lenient this time cuz I really need good score to apply to colleges.

Yes. I heard the curves were crazyy. It was 750 for -3 !! :O

For Writing 35-Question Section,

in the 2 page sentence improve, i don’t know the answers to 3 questions.

Those were President question, a recurring theme question, and the question after the recurring theme question.

Yeah, I need a good score, too, to apply to colleges…gosh

Btw did you guys choose breaches in the canopy as an answer??? That short passages were confusing. I think, I didn’t choose that one…none of the answer choices were directly stated in the passage. So I was confused.

President question : i think answer starts with “, a reception”

Recurring theme question : answer starts with “is a recurring theme…”

I forgot the other question… i got stuck on this one

*eatlovepray

Hey, what did you put for those writing answers?

I guess I agree with your choices…President one was like this
Filling the hotel rooms, the retirement reception was blah blah speeches by Vice President and his coworkers who know him well…sth like that
And I think I chose also is a recurring theme…

ok. Do you remember the question right after the recurring theme one?

Nope. don’t remember

Guys, for the old china passage
do u guys remember the question
that the answer is ‘amused disbelief’?

what was the question for that?

Guys…was the thing about the Indian writer and the Mark Twain quote “authors praise work blabla” - pertinent observation or explanation for the peoples’ reactions??

bastion39, I can’t exactly remember the question but it had to do with the author being sarcastic about how modern people praise worthless things of the past…which was why the answer was amused disbelief…

I was just gonna choose explanation for the people’s reactions…Then I felt it was wrong coz did the passage mention anything about people’s reactions???
Then I chose the answer that starts with ‘response’

I put explanation because he also said that the authors at the book convention(?) seemed not to know that and thus, did not compliment his work…not sure though…

me not so sure too…Only CB knows

Does anyone remember there is CR question with answer choice ordinary, elementary, vulgar ?? whats the answer for this

@actorsat
Wasn’t it what common meant? I put in ordinary.

Pulp: A publication, such as a magazine or book, containing lurid subject matter.
Inferior literature is good. :)
