International SAT 2011 December

@hiiiletstalk I chose ultimately problematic! Dunno if it’s right but I feel like it is…
And the one about the writer changing? I remember one about the difference of him at the beginning an end. Something like joyful about the writing experience. Then appreciating the challenges of writing?..

@icookie I remembered I put bitterly resignation for that one. I am not sure whether it should be bitterly resignation, feigned indifference or heartfelt regret.

For the computer engineer passage, man, women…All born in his brain sth sth that sentence is used for? Anyone know whether the answer is to elaborate on a previous observation.

does anyone remember anything about the turtle and the flood? that one was reallly confusing.

@peterzxd I chose elaborate as well. I thought about “emphasize on significant event” but I decided no on that because his attitude towards writing in the first para wasn really just an event. Any comments?..

@fluffynoly do you mean the grammar with the “only a few exhausted people made it on the turtle” or sth? cuz i remember that 3 of the answers used exhuastive and exhausting, which wasnt right in context…

Oh I just remembered another one… What was the answer to the one about “pulp”??

@iCookie yeahh. that one. well the one with exhausted was definitely not the answer. i think it was exhaustive. wait. is it? O.o HAHAHA.

i also remember pulp. but i dont kno what that was

ohhh. and there was question about the girl singing in a loud sweet voice. and one of the choices was palpable. and something… pre… something.hahaha

@fluffynoly… The answer’s the one with exhaustive?? All my friends told me its exhausted one is the answer…
For the pulp one, two of the choices were inferior literature annd sth used to make paper…

oh yeah inferior literature was my answer. and im not sure about the exhaustive thing. i forgot what my answer was :P:(

@peterz OH MY GOD. whats the meaning of this :O

The questions are the same as Mar 09 US SAT. The curve was extremely harsh especially for CR. Hope this time the curve will be different.

was the cats rent/own quote a metaphor? or to cite an authority??

@peter well the curve depends on the general performance of the students. so crossed fingers.

My test was like this:

essay
writing (bird)
reading
math
math
reading
math (grid in)
reading (20 mins)
math (20mins)
writing (10 mins)

which do you think is the experimental one? well i know it’s math but i mean WHICH among the math sections. cause i think i had 2 mistakes and i am really really hoping that those questions were part of experimental section :(

What’s the answer of the Math and Science question?

@FluffyNoly Mine was exactly like yours. I guess the first math section you do is experimental because the question style is a bit novel.
