International SAT 2011 December

How much score you all expecting

Guys, for the writing
“Although I felt well-acquainted with the material, I thought that it would be wise to go over it again.”

what was the error on this one?

I put no error

Guys!! Urgent!

Is it “funds were being used in accordance with its”
or “funds were being used in accordance with their?”

Did it say something like “The committee did not make sure the funds…?”
Because then it would be its…please help!

Also, there was a question about “For the people of the xxxx, the only acceptable model T.V. show” or something like that. Was that no error?

Thanks!

different patterns i think

@samilmamulik…pretty sure it’s “funds were being used in accordance with its…”
don’t remember the TV show question…

@samilmamulik Yeah, I agree with Nikitaari. It was " the funds were being used in accordance with its…" because it referred to " rule", I guess.

heyy guys would 54 be marked right in that 2p<x<3p ?

u had 2 write the value of x not p

yaah i know…will 54 be accepted a a rihgt answer??

guys was the question that asked for how many no. 90<X<100m where units is more than than tens in the expeimental section (5) or not ?

@Onewhen do you mean 9<x<100? 'Cause otherwise I screwed that up haha

yeah, was it in the expeimental ?

@Onewhen I got two long grammar sections, and this maths question. So it is not likely to be experimental.

I’ll ask again:
Since internationals are always given previous US-SATs, does someone know if the curves have been the same for both admissions?
Btw, how does this curve thing work? Does it have something to do with the variable section?

guys, I really have no idea why mellifluous was the answer not euphony. =S
and according to the [Dictionary and Thesaurus - Merriam-Webster Online](http://www.merriam-webster.com) the first synonym to Mellifluous is Euphony. they both really mean the same thing… at least to me!
Also, can we come up with more words?? up till now I only have this one wrong, but we only came up with 11 words… 8 words to go!
-florid
-malfeasance
-pastoral
-intemperance/inimical
-euphony? mellifluous?
-guilt/compunction
-superficial/compromising
-commended/invited
-stark/cerebral
-controversy
-innuendo

GUYS!!
any of you remember the grammar question
that says sth about the movie theater banning foods ?
one of the answer choices were like
one’s seat… i thought this was no error… does anyone remember this?

What did you guys get for the number line one? everyone chose either between
|x-3| = 2|x|
OR
|2x-3| = something

*bastion39 wasn’t it in the experimental section??

at DuffMan1991
yes, they don’t change the curve for any re-used test since the curves are predetermined according to what the ETS thinks about the difficulty of questions. so the math curve will be -1 790 ;)

@ bastion I think I put that too. No error.
The one about tv was “people of the 80s, who grew up with fam comedies, thin that’s what sitcoms should be.” I think. Along those lines! I chose no error
