@Nikitaari for the froglets question, I chose D containing “when they hatch”.
And for the artist question, I chose “a new lawyer excitedly but … pursue a challenging task”, probably wrong.

Does anyone remember the answer to the last question in the old Chinese dog passage? I chose something like “internal value … increased”, with a possible option … unaccustomed to it

@zth0908123

the answer was unaccustomed to it…

GUYS !!
Will I still be able to get a 790 if I get one question wrong on the grid-in section on math?
and rest of the questions correct??

If not, what do u think the curve will be?

ok in that quesyion bout why he has italicized each and every in that engineer pasaage, was it to emphasize the necessity of resundanvy or to emphasize the impact of an action?

I chose “to emphasize the pervasiveness”…

Do u guys remember a writing question beginning with “In comparing with someone”? Was it no error?

@bastion39 I came across the curve for the March 2009 SAT test in this forum.
If the CB applies the same curve for re-used tests, this curve will work.
Math:
54 800
53 790
52 760
51 740
50 720
49 710
48 700
47 690
46 680

Critical Reading:
67 800
66 800
65 800
64 790
63 770
62 750
61 740
60 730
59 710
58 690
57 680

Writing:
80MC 12E = 800
80MC 11E = 800
80MC 10E = 800
80MC 9E = 780
80MC 8E = 760
77MC 12E = 800
77MC 11E = 800
77MC 10E = 780
77MC 9E = 760
77MC 8E = 740
74MC 12E = 800
74MC 11E = 780
74MC 10E = 760
74MC 9E = ?
74MC 8E= 720

@Nikitaari “comparing with"(choice A) is wrong. It should be “compared with”, because the subject does not actively compare himself with another person.

Could you elaborate on the Chinese dog question, as well as remember some of the answer choices?

@zth0908123…are you sure the curve won’t change??? I really don’t like it. It is incredibly harsh.

@Nikitaari I am not sure about this, either. There are still a lot of uncertainty. For one thing, whether the curve is pre-determined by ETS according to the difficulty level or determined according to the performance of the test takers is unknown. For another thing, whether it is a speculative one from a test taker or a near official one based on the released scores is unclear.

@TheJavaDuke THe question is “why do the people in the future value the Chinese dog in lines X-Y” or “Lines X-Y suggest that people in the future value the dog because”, or something similar. The only options I can recall are “they are unaccustomed to the dog”, “the dog’s internal something(probably value) increases over time”, and “they have no idea how the dog was made”(the last one is certainly not the correct answer).

it definitely was not “increase in value” the passage was talking about how the things that don’t matter to us will be valued in the future because people haven’t seen anything like them and their eyes are not accustomed to them. < this was the answer.
guys are the sentence completion we missing the very first ones?? are we missing any other hard ones?

Did you guys all choose no error for the setence “The barren desert was, to some, …” ? “To some” is kind of ambiguous, since it can indicate both “to some extent” and “to some people”.

I remember “to some” was okay.

and for previous re-used tests, the curve remained unchanged… :)

@zth0908123

Thanks for your reply. I think I chose “because of the age of the dog” (option B), but I think now that is wrong. How about the math question which asks which percent of the households recieve 2 calls or fewer? It was a pie diagram and I got 57%. The section might have experimental though.

I can’t remember the exact number but I remember I included the “no calls” and the “2 calls”
