@LFCYNWA. The answer was “but also choir,” because the main verb already properly modified choir…whereas “but also direct choir…” was either redundant or …(something was wrong with it but I don’t remember)

@yifan712 …I put a no error for that one …and I had a total of 4…but for some reason, I feel as if there were only 3…I got a 800 last time on the october test and chose only 2 no errors

The question involved a circle that was divided into 4 parts, of which 3 parts were each p % of the total and 1 part was x percent. It asked you to find the value of x that satisfied 2P < X < 3P.

The solution is any number greater than 40 but smaller than 50 {41, 42,…, 49}

In case anyone is interested in how that ^ question can be solved easily, this is how I did it:

Break down the inequality two parts: the first is X < 3P
Because the total for the 3 p parts is bigger than the x part, 3p must be greater than fifty, or else x would be equal to or greater than 3 p. Consequently, x is smaller than fifty.

Then you have this part: 2P < X
Since there are three p parts, 2 p is two thirds of the total p area. Therefore, x is bigger than two thirds of the total p area. Also, you know that X+ total p area=100. Write this down:

2/3(100-X)< X----} Fast forward—} 40< X

Or you can just plug in a bunch of numbers- do whatever works for you

@avConstant
a 50 point raise is really good! (although to be honest i’ve only taken it once)
But a lot of people are stuck in the 20-30s based on what i’ve seen here

Did ok, but defs not pleased with myself. And I expected better cause I felt pretty good!
First time taking it, junior year but I didn’t plan on retaking it. Dunno if I should now…

I improved by 80 points! My super score is 2110. I was thinking about re-taking the test in January, but since I’ve broken the 2100 mark I guess I can relax and forget about SAT now :D

Also anyone gets a considerably lower CR than last time? My CR is down by 50 points (!). I have several friends on facebook who are saying the reading curve for international is probably harsher this time.

But I got vastly better in M and W anyway, so it’s still alright.

Oh I really don’t know what to think. Scores didn’t live up to my expectations. I guess the reading curve was quite harsh…right? Math was lenient and I screwed up my essay…

I improved 210 points in a month. but still…not enough

Yes the CR curve was definitely quite harsh 2 wrong =790
math made up for it though
i felt the writing was a litttleee bit harsh but i think that’s just me being bitter (screwed up my essay really badly)
not complaining (too much) though…overall score 2370, first try junior

Okay. Throughout November 2011, did you embark on a self-discovery quest of eating, loving and praying that resulted a state of nirvana right before December? Because 210 is an awful lot of difference for two consecutive tests. Only beings with enlightened minds can make such transformation.
