International SAT 2011 December

This is what I chose:
Triangle ratios 3:4 was 40/3
(0,t) was 7 (So stupid)
g+100 = 150
21 people in line (15th from first 7th from last)
0<a<7
n(n-3)/2 = 65 where n is 13
1 soda 1 ice cream was 3.50
lifeguard earned 50 dollars more than sales guy
number of people was 12 (guests + club members)
angles were 210
gallons of water 160 minutes (40 mins per 100 gallons)
Hair cutting was 5 cm

CR:
malfeasance (stigma of malfeasance, mayor)
mellifluous (voice was full and sweet?)
superfluous ( don’t remember the q)
pastoral (scenery, village, a bridge over water something like that)
intemperate/inimical : this is correct because the question was about indulgence
florid (the one about the writer who was direct)

I think it was easier than oct/nov ones. Math sections were easier than before definitely. I omitted 2 questions in reading for sentence completion :(

Yeah I think I got the one with the guilt sth, but don’t remember precisely.

i found Dec one was incredible easy…SC is easy…reading articles are easy to understand and essay is simple to write…but the grammar is quite odd

Maths grid-in… anyone know about the question where 2 triangles, the ratio of their areas and stuff was given??? What did you guys answer? I got 40/3

Was the guilt one option c or d?

was the answer superfluous? i thought it was perplexed

i chose 5 Es in ISE…QUITE strange

I got it wrong in CR about the ‘florid’. i put something else. succint or something

I agree with answers of avConstant.

Any idea about the curve??? Anyone?

superfluous means excess. I think that made sense to me. Doesn’t anyone remember the q?
The guilt one was a little confusing. Does anyone remember options?

also, @eatlovepray , the hexagon one? The one with two white sides (option E i believe) is correct. Mech Drawing Student here, so I’m really sure. :)

Yeah I also put succinct. Why florid? I thought the author writes directly and clearly…sth along that line.

sentence completion KILLS ME. can anyone discuss what they remember about sentence completion? it’s like i can’t stop guessing even though i know i will probably get wrong answers. </3

@avConstant
E s correct.

I think there was a switch in the sentence: Like ‘Instead of using florid language, he was direct.’ Something like that.
Hope I’m not wrong. :$

Doesn’t superfluous also mean irrelevant?

i did 40/3 in math question but i think i put in a decimal form. is it ok?

@avConstant yeah there was a switch

@Moonnny… yeah its ok.
