International SAT 2011 December

Ah ****, then missed that one. carelessness…

few questions i had trouble with:

Mark Twain said the difference between the words (lightning and lightning bug) was manageable, perplexing, etc. I put manageable

there was one sentence completion with two options… i put the one with stark and something else. the other options had like grim or sth.

And there was the thing about what a speific section refers to in the passage bout children and media… i put cliches of masculinity and femineity… is this right?

ill post more as i think of them

ohhhh i remember one question. At the end of the class, students gathered around to ask some questions for which there weren’t enough time something… does anyone remember that?

I have a good feeling about this test. Hopefully, getting over 1900 or even higher than that. Last one was damn hard. :)

What was the ans for dinosaur one where it is asked why author says ap-df sth like that and cannot remember the changed name of tyrannosaurus

this test is from march 2009 US version

Does any remember the penultimate question on the math last section where it has a circle and a right triangle with radius 4 and segment length of 1/6?

@varun123 i answered she was bewildered by the change. im not sure though

fluffynoly: i put no error because it seemed fine to me… i dont know
varun: i think that one was like certain recent changes or sth along those lines

Masculanity wasn’t the ans it was a option I think

I put perplexing because the context seemed to mean mysterious or puzzled.

@icookie REALLY. oh no… it sounded really awkward to me. i answered “for which” goshhh

@eatlovepray: that was 4root3 because it was a 30 60 90 triangle… i think

@varun123 I put the answer with " scientific understanding"

any ideas on whether the math curve will allow an 800 with say, 2-3 errors max?

@eatloveprey i got 45 for that. I recalculated and it worked

@iCookie I put the first option for thee Mark Twain one… Idk what t was but it was something synonymous to great I guess…

i put manageable because mark twain said that hte difference was like the difference between lightning and lightning bug… so it was fairly evident… argh for the masculinity one i first put shrewd advertising or something cuz it said sth about flattery

@ ICookie. Yeah, I also got that one. I was just thinking it was too easy for the last question where it has to be hard.

No maths curve is very strict.if two are wrong you get 770
