International student - chances of being admitted in Grad School with funding?

Hello,
I’m an international student in my senior year of Industrial Engineering and I intend to apply for masters degree in Engineering or Management in the US.
My cumulative GPA in my home country (Brazil) is 3.48 (after this year I think I can make it go up to 3.6), and in 2014 I attended Auburn University for two semesters in an exchange program. My GPA in Auburn is only 3.2 (As in German, Bs in engineering classes and one C - which still haunts me- in an engineering course as well). How these non-degree courses hurt my chances of being admitted into Grad School?
I should also state that I had undergrad research experience both in Auburn and Brazil, with publications in Brazil; moreover, my current job is related to research.

I am concerned if I should apply to Grad school since I can only study if I get financial support, TAs or RAs. Because of that, I was also considering UI in Urbana Champaign, Northwestern, NYU, Illinois Tech and even Cornell, so I dont know if I’m setting my expectations too high.

Can someone help me and tell me what my chances actually are?

Thank you so much.

You might be better off posting in the Graduate School Forum. In any case, not all programs will give TA or RA support for Masters students. Usually if a school has a Ph.D. program that admits directly to the Ph.D., then the resources are reserved for those students. If a program requires all graduate students to start with a M.S. and does not accept Ph.D. students directly, then it is more possible to find funding. Another type of school which may have some support is a university with only a Masters level program. In that case, whatever support is available is for Masters students.
