Hey, since I have received that NYU Reception thingy I think I got accepted. If I'm not mistaken then there are no scholarships for international students (I live in NJ, but dont have a green card) - am I right? I would need about 6000-8000 financial assistance. Do you guys have any idea how I could find any source of financial aid? Or how can I find a cosigner:P This really sucks to be admitted and not to have enough money to attend a school :)
Thank you guys for any help
Still having hope

but i agree with the kidney idea, you only need one to live, and i'm sure the value of an NYU education combined with saving a life would outweigh your love for said kidney :D

but in all seriousness, what about student loans? one of my friends is hoping to attend brown university and she will be paying for it almost entirely in student loans (by herself)

well International students need a cosigner to take a loan - and I don't know anyone who could do it for me... My parents cant take huge loan cos we have been here only for about 2.5 years so we don't have credit history

hmm i got this thing in my package, its a loan with citibank and you dont need a US cosigner, only a home country sponcer cosigner.
The catch is:Interest is Prime Rate + 2% aka you are getting ripped.
