so i did a totally stupid thing. i wanted to apply to nyu this year but i decided not to apply eventually because they dont offer aid to international students. but now im thinking maybe i should i have just applied anyways. i know that my counselor had sent off my high school transcripts and my recs and everything. plus i had given them my SAT scores. so they have all that. they only thing i didnt do (which is obviously the main thing) is i didnt submit the common app and supplement on the deadline. is there anyway that i can still apply? i mean i know this may seem like a stupid question and i might have even answered my own question. but if anyone knows of any way i can still apply for this years freshmen class, let me know please. i mean they do have half the application, right? :-) please. help. i dont want to hear that i have to wait to apply till next year either as a fresh. or transfer. :( coz well thats not what i want to hear. im in denial. hah okay. so...

I’m sorry, but I think it’s too late, especially since we’re nearing two months after the deadline.

asking people on college confidential won’t really help. Contact the folks at the admissions office and explain your situation. That’s your best bet. But, I seriously doubt that they will allow you to submit your application. You can always transfer after freshman year though.

I doubt it. But, if you have EXCELLENT stats and are FULL PAY…who knows?

i emailed them yesterday. waiting to hear wish me luck?

im not going to go around boasting my stats and stuff. but they are quite good. not a 4.0 and a 2400 but close. and seeing as im international and they don’t award aid to int’ls i will be paying in full.

I think for the most part, admissions are done since they already accepted people into the Liberal Studies Program. It can’t hurt to ask though, especially if you’re willing to pay in full!

Don’t email. Call, call, call.

I agree. Call them ASAP.

I emailed and called. No reply from the email yet. The person I spoke to on the phone said I could only transfer after freshmen year, sorry! Sniff. Oh well. I guess I’ll have to wait 2 years to meet you guys now.
