Anybody going? Is it worth going?

i saw it too in the case for Cornell. i think i'm going but don't know whether it's worth going. Any comments?

Are either of your parents acompanying you during this orientation period? If so, you would have to find additonal accomodation for this pre-orientation period, which can be difficult in Ithaca.

i wanna go, but i dont think the dorms are open then, right? i dont know where i would stay.:(

oh yea but my parents wont be coming.

The dorms will be open then. If you look at the brochure on it in the "Case for Cornell" booklet, the very first activity is "check-in to resident halls." I believe this allows students to get set-up earlier and accustomed to their housing environment. Although I may be wrong.

Any current students attended this program in previous years?

In the brochure there is also a line that says: "Participants will be allowed to move into their on-campus housing early, free of charge," which means we can stay at the dorm if alone. I'm not accompanying my parents so it's okay for me. I think u have to find additional accomodation if u ARE with ur parents thou. :)

oh i missed that. oops.

does anyone know if we can store some of our stuff over the summer? i live in korea (but go to school in the states (a boarding school)) and i dont wanna bring all of my stuff back home and then back to cornell again. do you know if they have a storage place somewhere?

misty, i'm in the same situation as you. I amd from thailand, but I go to a boarding school in CT, and am looking for a storage during the summer.

if you can find the solution, please let me know too, k.
