any other international students? and which dorm are you considering? i’m thinking about haggett hall but i just want to hear other people’s opinion

How hard is it to get into the International Community in Haggett as an American freshman studying a foreign language as a major (listed on admissions application) if he applied for the interest group as a first choice on the first day that housing opened the process?

I decided to go to UW~I applied the LANDER because of the first year experience. And also, it is the freshman only which means no chance to live in the halls excepts first year.

got accepted and definitely going there (hopefully, if there are no problems in the visa stuff haha)
indonesian, but i’ve lived in the united arab emirates for 15 years of my life pre-engineering :D

By the way, to you international students, if any of you need more help in accent modification or learning how to articulate better (or just want to take a super easy class that requires almost no work), check out SPHSC 111, it’s a 2 credit class and super easy (and I may be tutoring fall term). In fact, it’s credit/no credit. Even if you speak perfect english, take the class, it’s basically 2 free credits and is a good addition to a normal 15 credit class load. Taking 17 credits your first quarter is a great way to start off.

Ohh thaks, I’m gonna think about it! :)

I’m from China and definitely I will go there.
