Im a rising junior at an Ivy League school but I cant find any internships. I've sent out countless applications through our schools career posting service but it hasnt worked out. Im looking for a finance position and if not that public policy positions. Does anyone know any good websites with job postings in finance or public policy? I appreciate the help. Thanks.

Try [Find Internships | Intern Jobs | Paid Internships](http://www.internmatch.com) and just google internships finance and see if you find some sites that seem good.

This is another good one where you can search internships by just entering your major (the results are filters to provide internships with employers looking for a candidate with that major).

Just be sure to turn on the internship filter so you don’t have to look through the full time entry level listings.

[Search Entry Level Jobs and Internships by College Major - MajoredIn](http://www.majoredin.com)

Good luck!

From my experience, sites like Monster.com or MajoredIn.com DO NOT WORK. I’ve applied to 350+ internships and all the interviews I got were from directly applying at the company’s website.

I suggest researching the companies you’re interested in, and begin applying for internships at their website.

Also, contact small companies. They might not have “internship programs”, but compared to a large company, they might be willing to bring on an intern for the summer.

Be sure you also contact all of your parents’ friends, they might know of something.

You were looking for finance positions at the end of April? Most of the good ones are gone by then, especially the ones who were recruiting on campus. I’m not sure what to tell you, maybe consider applying to work for a startup or smaller firm to gain finance experience? Intern Match and Simply Hired are some websites that could help.

I got an internship both for the semester and for the summer off of internships.com … This semester as a sustainable blogger on business sustainability with an NGO and this summer with the bay area climate collaborative to do energy politics research full time, paid. so, i disagree wholeheartedly with blablaboi about “those” sites not working because they definitely helped me land some pretty awesome internships.

I was in the same bind last summer. Waited to late to apply to firms in my area, which forced me to widen my net and consider interning internationally; not a bad experience overall.

Not sure your time constraints, but have you considered going to an internship headhunting firm? I used one to help me get a finance job in China (InternChina), but just look around at other firms to see which is a good fit for you.
