Internships

Are the internships in the DC area hard to get for Mason students since Georgetown, American, and George Washington are all in close proximity and considered tier one schools while Mason is a public tier three school? I could probably get into these schools but I would rather go to Mason because of money issues. Will my opportunities be considerably dimished since I am not attending one of those three schools?

Internships are hard to get no matter what school you go to. The high priced schools don't have a much better success rate. Many want internships, few actually get them. In some ways, it's harder to get an internship than it is to get a job after college.

Thanks man, I had no idea, are you a Mason student now?
