right now i can't sign up for an interview at USC. if there are no available openings.. will that hurt my chances of getting in?

No, don't worry about it. Why do people wonder whether things will hurt their chances when they can't control it?

just curiosity. i wasnt worrying, i was just wondering if anyone knew. if it would hurt, i would spend more time on my essay! haha

I wouldn't worry about. Most USC applicants don't get interviews; I asked the rep who came to my HS about interviews and only a small percentage get interviews (a percentage that is way less than those who get accepted). Don't worry about it.

alright thanks

You may be able to make this work to your advantage. If you're really serious about this school, find another date/place where you can interview or volunteer to take the rep to lunch or dinner. This will show them you are serious. My son actually went to another high school to meet with an admissions rep and the rep remembered him when the offers came out.
