<p>Not everyone is going to get an opportunity for an interview, but that won’t affect your application in any way. No worries.</p>

<p>Not necessarily. Interviewers will compare you with the other students and are there to convey to Yale information about you. If I meet a mediocre candidate, I clearly state as such in my writeups. While it doesn’t sink a candidate automatically, if there are other areas in the file that are less that spectacular, it may confirm initial impressions.</p>
<p>I got in my application pretty late and didn’t think I would get an interview, but I was just contacted yesterday for one. Don’t fret!</p>
