Has anyone gotten contacted yet for interviews? Does anyone know when Yale will start contacting people?

Btw, a bunch of my friends already got contacted for Princeton and Harvard so I was just wondering when Yale starts to do so.

I have yet to be contacted.

As T26E4 stated in another thread, interviewers have until the end of February to submit reports, so, if you are contacted at all, it should be between now and then.

There’s no official window. I’ve contacted about half of those I’ve assigned. The others are just in my email queue.

Also remember: it’s a possibility you’ll NEVER be contacted. If ten of your friends applied to Y and got interviews, you STILL might not get one. It’s just coincidence.

Just live life. Move on. Enjoy your senior year. Take chances. Knock out those APs. Go up and ask out every guy/girl you hesitated before. Be liberated! You’ve got nothing to lose.

Good luck on Ivy day!

Ahh okay. Yeah I still haven’t gotten any emails or anything.
Thanks T2G34. Can’t wait till second semester guys :)

I was emailed by my interviewer on Jan 3rd. Impressive speed! Only I’m embarrassed because it went straight to my spam folder, so he called me today… that was a facepalm moment.

He seems cool, and I have my interview in one week. So nervous!

good luck austrohungarian don’t be nervous. i already did 3 interviews. interviewers are pretty much the chillest people ever.

Ha. T26E4: How are your interview reports coming along? I’m probably the laziest interviewer in the world–did one almost three weeks ago and have yet to finish writing the report. Ironically, I had an interview myself for something else a few days later, and that went surprisingly well considering the results.

Hey kids! Wait till you’re on both sides of interviews in your working/professional lives! It’s so much fun! :P

Could deferred SCEA applicants still be contacted for interviews?

^If they weren’t interviewed the first time around, yes SpaceCoast. I’ve interviewed people in that situation.

Thanks for your quick reply. My son was not interviewed prior to the SCEA deadline, so I will let him know an interview is still a possibility.
