What can I expect from the interview? (If/when i get called to have one)

for nominations or actual acceptance?

both i suppose....how different are they?

they might ask you about your interest of West Point and how you would contribute.

The nomination interview may be a panel interview with more than 1 interviewer from the MOC's nominating committee questioning you.

The interview with your ALO will likely be one-on-one. Your parents may have an opportunity to spend time the the ALO before and/or at the end of the interview.

You should prepare for both of the interviews. Have somebody ask you the questions that you would expect to answer. There are good practice questions in the book about how to earn an ROTC scholarship. You should be able to clearly articulate the reasons why you are interested in a military career as well as discuss your leadership experiences.
