INterviews?

How do you get interviews? When do you apply for them? Is it beneficial? Thanks

Many colleges, after submitting your application, give you a link or email or some medium by which to schedule an interview. Some colleges only offer interviews to a small amount of applicants (because they have a huge amount of people applying), and contact you then. The best way to check is to go directly on your college’s website and find information pertaining to the interview. Some colleges don’t even offer them to anyone. They don’t count as much as you would think they do since most colleges besides some of the smaller ones don’t offer it to everyone, therefore it would be unfair to consider it a huge factor.

Oh thanks, because students at school told me that signups were all done, no more interviews for the rest of the school year. What schools would those be?!

if you scroll down here [Stanford University: Common Data Set 2011-2012](http://ucomm.stanford.edu/cds/2011.html#GeneralInformation)
apparently, Stanford does not take interviews into consideration at all

If the school uses alumni to conduct the interviews, then they don’t get scheduled until after applications are submitted. Check the websites of the schools you are applying to.
