I admit I'm totally unfamiliar with the process.
Do you do the interviews before or after submitting your applications? And how do you arrange one if you're an international applicant?

Only few colleges conduct interviews. If visiting campus, some students schedule one if available. For others, once the application is complete, they may or may not be contacted by volunteer alumni in your area. Some areas are not covered by volunteers so those students may or may not get telephone interviews. Applicants don’t arrange them – they wait to be contacted – which may or may not happen.

I know this sounds frustrating but know that interviews are generally not required, even by schools that conduct them. And even when they happen, they are the tiniest portion of the evaluation – almost having no weight whatsoever.
