Question is it still possible to schedule interviews alum or on campus??

Contact your local alum organization, I'm pretty sure they've stopped on campus interviews but you MAY still be able to do one with an alum. I don't know since the deadline for submitting all apps has passed.

thanks dima

The deadline was actually January 7 (for EDII), but I had my interview Jan. 9. I assume the deadline for RD is a little bit later, so you may be OK.

just a quick update for anyone who wants to still sched. an alum interview...its still possible just call the admissions office to get in contact w/the regional head in charge of scheduling alum interviews for your region.

That said..another question-- how formal are the interviews for W&L? Any suggestions?

VERY informal. I wore some nice Brooks Brothers khakis, a collared shirt under blue cashmere sweater. We just talked about stuff in general. My on-campus interview was pretty informal, as well. My whole family got a chance to sit down outside and just talk casually with the interviewer. It was very nice.

I would also classify the on-campus interview I had as informal. You still have to dress well (I wore a polo shirt, khakis and dress shoes), but not overly well. The discussion is informal, but standard fare for college interviews, and my interviewer also invited my dad (the only person with me at the time) in later to talk.

thanks for the responses
