<p>What are the interviews like?</p>

<p>There have been earlier posts about interviews at Wake. My D was most definitely grilled and she found it most unpleasant. Prior to Wake, she had interviews at Rice and WashU and they were great. She had such a good experience at WashU that they called her school the next day to speak to the college counselor about her and how eager they were for her to apply!
Other posters have not had this type of experience at Wake so I don't know what was going on when she visited! She felt that she was constantly being challenged to defend her point of view on everything and it was just not necessary. When they say the interview is evaluative,believe it.</p>
<p>well, my interview was not unpleasent at all... we basically just had a conversation for about 30 minutes</p>
<p>my mom was sitting in the lobby though, and she said a girl went in after me and came out before me, not looking too happy... so i think it really just depends which admissions officer you get</p>
<p>hustler032-I wonder if your mom saw my daughter! We were there on September 11! If not, maybe that person had the same interviewer my d had!</p>
