So i've sent in my ED application! exciting! But, I received an email asking me to do an alumni-interview in my area? How important is it that I do it? Should I do it all?

why wouldn’t you? Absolutely. Be True to your School…get to know your local alum right on and early. Find out about his or her experiences, listen up…it is fun to get perspective on your college and Vandy, like all colleges does undergo change from decade to decade that is interesting. If you get into Vandy you will meet older alum in life…might as well start now. For all I know you may have to send in an update on your application…things happen, little accolades or accomplishments…you can always write a cogent sentence stating you had an alum interview and were happy to learn more about Vandy in some respect relevant to your potential contribution to life at Vandy.

My son’s interest in Vandy increased after interviewing with an alum who impressed him as a very good man who had used Vandy well.

How do you schedule an interview? Do you have to submit your application officially first?

you have to submit your application, and then they should send you an email about scheduling an interview.
