Intl transfer

I am an intl student now in a college in tx. I been here for 2.5yrs and had a 3.37gpA now. Is there anyone like me who are intl student trying to transfer to tamu? I am still on step3. So just wondering. Anyway. Hope you all can be accepted.

It will be soon i think. Whats your GPA and unit hours?

3.37. Total hr is 59

what major?

Accounting. Business. My second choice is general study.

I am in STEP 2 for about 2 weeks… So nervous right now… I do not know why they have not processed my college transcript yet…Y_Y… Anyone had same experience like that…??

@China - Ooo, business with a 3.37. Hmm, the chance are not very good. I might be wrong. PM me if you get any decision from TAMU will ya? or post it here too.

Jiayou!

@Petro - Call them and check it out. When send in your transcript?

I am from China. I applied to transfer to TAMU with a 3.93 GPA and about 60 credits. I got the admission last week. My major is acct, and my roommate’s major is CS. He got the admission the week before spring break.

@police: I sent it in Mar 2nd. And they received it in Mar 9th. I dont know why it takes long time to process my transcript like that… Maybe it depends on departments and majors…

@langmi07: congrats… When did you apply??

I will have a long night with TAMU since it is my first choice to transfer…

@Petroboy
I sent it on Dec. 4th.

Some more good news from Intl students…?? keep it up…

My friend is still on Step 3 as well. Does anyone know around what time International Transfers are informed of admission?

i am from saudi arabia and i am a student in a texas university, i had a gpa of 3.4 and 37 hours and i was accepted in engineering today. good luck and always be optimistic

@SAUDISAM: congratulations!.. ^^, you go as general engineering?
@mumpet: now, they moved me to step 3 after I called and asked them about my application… … What is your friend’s major?
