Intro: Canada/USA Mathcamp

Hi, everyone. I am an alumni from Mathcamp 2006. I strongly encourage you to consider applying to this summer program. Mathcamp is a place for those who are passionate about math. You don't have to win a lot of awards but you only need to keep enthusiasm in mathematics. At Mathcamp, we learn college level courses while some courses are even graduate level or research level. Besides the courses, we have problem solvings, puzzle hunt, card games... Not only people there enjoy math, but we also enjoy our college-like activities (singing, dancing, sports, even cooking and laundry...). We have mentors to guide you on the right track. We also have field trips outside the campus on weekends. Campers really find who they are through all of these things, and thus better prepare for a real college life.

Don't be disappointed when you cannot afford the attendance fee. Mathcamp offers Financial Assisance and Scholarship to each admitted student. So go for it!

i'm interested in it...could you talk about daily schedule, what you did, what you liked about it, what you didn't like about it, etc.? The only reason I haven't applied yet is I was looking at the application quiz and it seems kind of daunting. Thanks!
