intro to sociology as a high school student??

hi, i am currently a junior in high school and was thinking about taking a summer class at ucla to get some of my GE requirements out of the way. Some people have been saying to take sociology bc it was a fairly easy class and it would be a good way for me to get the college experience without too much of a work overload. However, i have heard that the professor who is teaching the summer class is relatively hard (professor Sarguy??).
So i was wondering if any of you have heard of this professor and if so, is she extremely hard that ill end up hating the class?
Also is introduction to sociology a hard class, and what are some other GE courses i should conisder taking that wont be too difficult?
any feedback is appreciated, thank u!

try other social sciences maybe?

Couldn’t you take it at a CA community college and transfer the credit when you enroll in a college?
We don’t live in CA so I don’t know the rules there. As a h.s. senior my S2 took two classes at our local CC and transferred them to our state u. when he enrolled the next year.

Sociology is a “fluff” class and adcom would not know how hard your professor is. I would take core subject like Chemistry, Math, or Physics for example.
