But the fact that you want to major in something just for the sake of it, especially because it's "easy", is insulting to the major itself.

I just said i had interest in sociology. maintaining high gpa is just crucial for grad school. taking easy classes is conducive to realizing that goal. I have very good opinion about sociology and it's importance.

You went from earth sciences, to psych, now this? You don't know what you want. You just want an easy way
Yes i did. i liked earth science, but that major doesn't have much relevence to my career goals. I like interacting w/ people but and not rocks. Then i wanted to major in social science, psych and socio were my choices. i was not allowed to switch into psych, so i chose socio. SO u're wrong i do know what i want.

You even want to take a quarter off, go back to your CCC, and finish off science courses that will probably make you pee in your pants at UCLA.

I need to finish off a sequence b/c then i would have to start over at ucla and waste another year. Any person who has a brain would do that.

You didn't take that alchohol test because it's a waste of your precious time.
Let me see. I am taking two courses at ucla right now. I am working. I don't drink. SO i chose not to do.

In this case, you could be one of the slackers I was talking about. You are right that it's your business. But ppl like you give the social sciences a bad name.

I do more work daily than u can imagine. stupid to say i am a slacker. Actually ignorant people like u who try to put people in categories, judging people b4 u get to know them and understand their situation, not only gives social sciences a bad name, but u give ucla a bad name.

Ever consider if you don't make it to grad school? What are you going to do with a Soc major? And be prepared, because it's a question you'll hear often.

Yes, i can pursue becoming a social worker. I can pass the cbest and cset exams and teach high school since i am very well rounded having studied physical/life/ social sciences.
