Wake up…financial aid/ merit aid comes in your admissions packet. Good luck!

D got email for Tisch dance. We were confused and called admissions. They said email means admission!

■■■■! My phone buzzed that I had an email, so I checked it, and deleted an unrelated email. After that I read the headline “Start making plans for NYC…” I called NYU immediately, and the SA said " Well Congratulations!!! You’ve been accepted. " I just said"Thank You, Thank You," and he kept talking, but my ears turned off. I then hung up on him and sat quietly for 10 seconds. Then I ran and told my parents. I still can’t believe it.

who do you call at this hour?

haha thanks I’m flattered, but I’m obviously not that great. deferred from yale
no likelies from anywhere else

Yay!!! I got this email as well :). Congrats to everyone who did as well!

if you didnt get one, does that mean you’re rejected?

no it does not mean that you’re rejected.

Does anyone think this could mean better financial aid for those of us who’ve gotten one already? Because that would be amazing, but I’m not expecting it. I’m really tired of dealing with financial aid stuff between my other colleges. But right now it is just bragging rights that I got into NYU, because I don’t think there is anyway I can afford it. But xXxfingerscrossedxXx for great financial aid or winning the lottery.

Congrats everyone that knows so far!!
