The Iowa website says that decisions will be e-mailed on March 29th, so I’m hoping that’s correct!

@ziying There weren’t too many international students. I am from India. And I think only 1-2 people in my session were from abroad. But they attended school in America.
@fitzgirl22 I studied Poetry with Dan Rosenberg. Once you’re accepted, they give you a list of classes. And mostly, you will find something that does suit your genre or interest. They give you a lot of freedom to experiment and to write what you want and how you want.
@GrandBudapest The competition between fiction and poetry cannot be compared. You will be judged on the same thing by the same panel and you will get to choose you genre and class, only after you’re accepted.
@AlmightySadist The email arrived sometime around 8 AM last year. The decision was in the body of the email. Also, the response seemed to be template-generated not personal.
