Hi, I'm currently a junior, graduating in the summer of 2012. I took the SAT I for the first time in October, and got 2240 (770 Math, 740 CR, 730 Writing, 11 Essay).

I'm an International Student (Canadian citizenship), but I'm currently studying in a British School (A-Levels) in China. (Yeah everything's mixed up).

I'm hoping to apply to the Ivies and other top schools like Stanford, MIT, USC for something like Engineering (Undecided still, I could end up doing anything from CompSci to International Relations).

My question is whether there's any point in taking the SAT I again. My counselor says there isn't, but since it's a British school he doesn't have that much experience with the US. I hear that SAT scores for International students are scrutinized more, and I'm also worried about the 770 Math (I got one question wrong...bad curve this time) will look bad if I apply to Engineering.

Should I focus on SAT IIs (Taking Math II and Physics) or should I take the SAT I again? (I've gotten up to 2350 in mocks).

Thanks, and sorry if it's a wordy question, I am in a bit of a complex situation....
