<p>I would say no. Most schools that recommend/require subject tests are usually more selective; therefore, this school is very low in comparison to other applicants.</p>

<p>That’s horrible… assuming that you had at least some knowledge of the subject, but I literally guessed 80% of the questions on my Physics Subject Test and I managed to pull out a 600… -.- I know its pathetic. lol</p>
<p>It depends on what schools your looking at. If you took bio E, you placed in the 35th percentile. Not great but not as abysmal as the posters above suggested.</p>
<p>If a “decent” college (to you) is a non-flagship state school, your in good shape. However, if you plan on applying to top private schools, you should probably retake the exam.</p>

<p>560’s not that impressive…considering that the mean of subject test scores tend to be skewed upwards, towards the 650-750 range. According to Wikipedia, the mean scores for Biology E and M are 605 and 635 respectively.</p>

<p>I got a score about the same as yours because my school didn’t have AP classes, I however did take all the hard courses my school offered. Do you think the admission officers would understand?</p>
<p>I self studied AP Bio and took the SAT and got an 800, so that’s no excuse.</p>
<p>But the time I had to study was limited and I’m an international student</p>
<p>Try to convince the admissions officers. I really doubt it…Why pick an international student who has lower scores than the average domestic applicant?</p>
<p>I still have to pick something that makes me stand out. So far I have summer research, a disease (not serious), and good all year ECs.</p>
