On my first SAT
770 Math
560 Reading
660 Writing

Second SAT
760 Math
630 Reading
630 Writing

So I wanted to ask if after an Ivy League school superscores (takes
the best scores from each exam and compiles them) my two tests,
will they even consider my application even though I know my scores are
relatively low? They do superscore right?
Other than that, I still have a 4.0 GPA (even with 10 APs :) ), a few
honor societies, some academic teams and clubs (captain of math team
this year!), plenty of volunteering hours, 750s on chem and bio subject tests,
800 on math 2 subject test, and I'm engaging in research at a VA Center.
Do you think I would still have a chance at admission into an Ivy League?

It is a competitive SAT score. However, a 2200+ with a solid GPA and EC’s like yours, would guarantee a place at AN ivy league (maybe not of your liking, but I think you would make it to Cornell)

I was actually aiming for MIT so I try to focus on proving myself in math and science as you can probably tell from the subject tests, sat math section and math team thing

I was hoping that if I could try to impress MIT with those things, they might try to overlook my sat score
and i’m hoping they take pity since Georgia is like 41st in education lol

The English section of the ACT is analogous to the Writing section of the SAT except that the English section of the ACT has no essay; that is separate. The questions are somewhat similar, except the ACT likes to test more punctuation.

The Reading section of the ACT is much more straightforward (i.e., requires less reasoning) than the Critical Reading section of the SAT, though the former may be more time-constrained.

Cornell is often cited as the best Ivy League school for engineering. Though not an Ivy League school (this label is arbitrary for your purposes), MIT also has an outstanding engineering program, perhaps the best in the country.

Princeton and Harvard also have solid engineering programs.

Well, just to reconcile the terminology, the Writing section of the ACT is simply the essay; the ACT’s English and Writing sections combined correspond to the Writing section of the SAT.

I don’t feel comfortable making a prediction. Try out a practice test and see where you are. Some people find that their strengths fall better into the ACT’s style.

2060 is not a guarantee score for ivies but it is still very very good. I know a friend of mine who got a 2080 and got into Brown and Northwestern.

No one is an odds on bet to a super-selective school, and as people have pointed out, your SAT scores are not giving you a boost. If you look at the admission threads for these schools from past years, you will see that candidates with credentials better than yours are rejected.

Make sure you apply to a full range of safety/match/reach schools that are affordable for your family, and I am sure you will find a college that is a fine place for you.

I got a 2060 and I’m not retaking it because I hate the SAT and I’ll just rest on my ACT score. But you should still apply to any Ivies that you like as reaches. Just make sure to have a ton of target/safety schools. Good luck :)
