I recently scored a 790 on the Math II, but I know that the curve is really lenient and a lot of students make 800s. I checked my percentile today and it was 78. So I was wondering if it’s actually considered any good for universities such as Duke or Cornell.
I think a 790 is a great score.
Forget the percentiles. The students taking subject tests such as Math 2, physics, and Chinese are very self-selecting. Generally only those who know they will score well take them, and as a result, scoring an 800 is already in the 80th percentile.
Any score above 750, in any subject, is a great score. Don’t overthink it.
Thank you so much, I was really worrying myself!
