Is a B.B.A. or a B.S. in accounting better?

I currently attend a university that offers a degree in accounting (my major) and I'm thinking of transferring to a university that only offers a bachelor of business administration. I'm wondering if I should stay and get my degree in accounting or transfer and get a BBA? I want to sit for the CPA exam and continue onto getting a certification to become a certified fraud examiner.

I just want to know which degree is better for me? Is a BBA less specialized?

Thanks!

IMO a BBA is rather broad and less specialized (see also useless). Stick with accounting.

You can have a major in accounting with a BBA degree. Basically the same as a BS in Accounting degree. Texas and Michigan call their undergrad business degrees BBAs.
